Thanks for posting that info Fitz, I wish I’d paid more attention when I was there now, but there were stones all over the place on that part of the moor.
The book you mentioned by Stanhope White – “Early Man in North East Yorkshire”, the only book I can find by that name is by Elgee, also published in 1930 and a bit pricey. There’s a “North York Moors” by Stanhope White though....
