Not sure if all those who are currently pasting comments in this debate have read the book -- but there is also a short video on YouTube:

This is somewhat amateurish (my first attempt at such things) but it will at least indicate my main lines of thought......
My plans for today were put on hold because the weather took a turn for the wet and windy, so this afternoon I watched about an hour or so of Standing with Stones (which arrived this morning) including the bit about the theory on bloodsports, applied to Stanton Drew ... there was me conjuring up Stone-age gladiators, but of course as the Iron and Bronze age hadn't happened yet so they wouldn't have had swords.
Just watched your little film, which you modestly describe as 'somewhat amateurish' and it seems very plausible indeed. I recognise your name and realise that the subject of erratics has been discussed elsewhere with the emminent Avebury/Stonehenge expert Pete Glastonbury. I know he thinks your theory is sound and on matters of archaeology his is an oppinion I respect.
I hope you don't mind me commenting, I have been following the thread and meant to come back to redress the digression that happened re 'blood sports' somewhere in the middle. For what its worth, I think your theory will soon be widely accepted as a strong probability.
