I seem to remember, incidentally, that there was a map drawn up by someone with the suggested routes the bluestones *may* have been transported. I have it on my hard drive somewhere, I think. Very interesting.

*cough* You mean the Stonehengineers one? The painstaking pencil on greaseproof paper rendition transferred to A1 art paper and THEN coloured in ACTUAL poster paint (as opposed to the Microsoft version!) that was THEN digitally photographed and THEN edited in MS Paint - only to realise on submission that "the artist" had got the contour colours upside down? :) That one? I hope someone in a green tee shirt has a copy somewhere....

I have to admit to being surprised that a 'best guess' map isn't freely available on the net..

After all. You would think that those that support the Human endeavor theory would have planned it out in detail and would be 'pushing it' for all their worth..

Mind You that's a risky option - It's open to criticism..

Haha! Yep. I knew it was you - didn't want to offer your name in such a volatile environment! ;)

It is a beauty... I've certainly got a digital copy if you haven't got one... Dunno where the original went tho - don't think I ever saw that... And yes - still got the green t,shirt! :) Happy days...
