Quite a few people round here have been involved in stone shifting. I suspect many of them will think moving stones without snow is sufficiently straightforward but the part of your ideas that caught my eye was the snow ramp for pulling the stone up to drop into a hole. That's very neat. Ramps have been proposed before but the question has always been "where is it now?"
