What have the Flintstones and Stonehenge got to do with absentee or disbarred fathers? I only ask out of sheer ignorance.

The Flintstones were a nuclear family - fathers that are excluded from their children's lives are the victims of primitive emotion - half (50%) of divorced fathers lose all contact with their children. I guess it's the reverse side of political correctness, but is also a modern scandal, like cluster bombs and the disenfranchised underclass, seen but never spoken to (or about).
