Not saying this applies to you, but is a bit of a bee in me bonnet - I just wish the 'Average' person (& the political parties) could keep it in their mind that asylum seekers are doing just that - trying to find somewhere to live that's safe!!!!

Yes, there are frauds - mebbe loads of em, mebbe only a few. But no genuine peeps escaping persecution etc should suffer as a result of measures to keep frauds out. Deal with the frauds when they're proved to be frauds.
