Don't get me on to Govt funding for tourism.....I could be here hours!

It is not a statutory right for govt be it national, County or district to put any money into tourism...and it seems that they all think the businesses should be doing more to rpomote themselves...obviously Stonehenge and the road is a bit different.

All over the country Tourist Information Centres are facing closure because of funding...and what are the govt doing....pouring money into websites...cos as we know everybody uses the internet to plan thier holidays...until they reach thier destination...don't have access to the computer and find the TIC closed...

I mustn't go on....
