Fire at Stonehenge

Let's hope so! Perhaps that would discourage EH from allowing any more jokey stunts. Stonehenge has a majesty and solemnity, despite the hordes of tourists, which shouldn't be tampered with. I have no objection to tourists, they help to pay for these monuments to be preserved, but dangerous clowning belongs in a circus.

well, just saw it (by accident) & what a load of b*ll*cks...they could have done the stunt anywhere, & what's the big deal about such a stunt anyway?

looks like they were not too near the stones, & down wind of them, so apart from a bit of scorched grass, not too much mess...but why Stonehenge? If I got that near a stone to take a piccie, I'd be dragged off....
