I rather enjoyed the show. Not knowing any of the personalities and politics of the area allowed me to watch it for what it was. A snapshot of huge excavation of part of a wonderful neolithic landscape.

As for the interpretations, that's all they are, an informed opinion of what was going on four and a half thousand years ago. I'm sure the findings will be debated, re-evaluated and reinterpretted for many years to come.
I have read Mr Parker Pearsons work on the Wessex landscape. His Madagascan ethnographic comparisons certainly come across well on paper but again, it's only educated guesswork.
