This is Structure 10, in which last week they found a cruciform structure with similarities to Maes Howe. I assume this is why the cathedral analogy. It is believed that this structure also faces Maes Howe.

It's because of the 65 foot long & 6 foot thick walls that they're calling it a 'cathedral'. That's of Maltese proportions!
