Stampeded, no, but hire car stopped dead in the road by sheep, many times!

On our recent visit to Uffington White Horse, I was nervous about the cattle in the field we had to cross. What if a bull was amongst them? Luckily the cattle, on closer inspection, turned out to be dark brown sheep! Never saw sheep all of such a color, and that flummoxed me for a moment or two.

What if a bull was amongst them...

;) Bulls are not found with cows, its all AI (artificial insemination) nowadays.
But when walking thorough cows and calves take great care from the great big french cows who get furious protecting their young. Bullocks are the other cattle you will meet, be brave and you can walk right through them, but keep near to a hedge (for jumping into). A swiss once told me that if you keep to the front of a cow she can't see you to charge....
