Digs Summer 2004?

Am realy really keen to do some hard core excavation and anthropological fieldwork in the Orkneys over Summer 2004. Have a fair amount of previous experience and am fully trained. Something running for abt a month would be ideal. If anybody knows of idgs could the yplease reply, or if perhaps anyone has useful numbers / email adresses of potential projects for 2004, they would be very gratefully appreciated.

As you are not in Orkney I don't know how useful this is to you , but in the latest edition of the Bulletin of Orkney Archaeological Trust there is a request as regards future digs "to build up ... database of willing ... when the need arises" . Contact [email protected] . Also there is the county archaeologist [email protected] who may give more definitive info for your purpose .
