When the missus and I went a few years back we saw 18 circles and a cairn in 3 days. We were based further north and it was a touch hectic :)

I'd definitely recommend Auchquhorthies & Auld Bourtreebush which are well worth the trek across the fields and pretty much slap bang where you'll be. Tyrebagger is a must if you head up just past aberdeen. Oh and I adored sunhoney, could have spent weeks there....
