thanks for the suggestions, we're doing shap on the way up, probably overnight in penrith, then off to long meg and little meg.

next day to keswick and then down to swinside, or something like that.

3 nights in all so i might catch some of you around if the gathering is still on.

Take your time in the Shap area, there's tons to see.
I would suggest starting at Gamelands and then working your way north taking in Oddendale and Iron Hill before going into Shap. The sites are relatively close together so you can get around them all in a day or so.
