Do you mean the Medway sites? If you do, I can see the 'glacial' thing.

But when you say 'coastal', do you mean at the time they were built?

And surely the 'clifftop' speculation could apply to much of the coastland in many parts of Britain?

I'm not arguing by the way, just exploring (I come from the Medway towns originally).

The building on cliff and such like is total speculation and purely a notion. I wonder if there has been sites where a number of non-local stones have been found in the seas around known sites???
