Actually, there was one person (female, so not Steve) lecturing two companions at the Barber Stone about readings of some sort taken from the stones, turned into high-frequency noise on a laptop and then stated as being proof that "our ancient ancestors had highly attuned senses" that allowed them to hear these noises. I hadn't realised we were descended from bats, but I had to smile.
