There's a bit of an area at the top end of the main car park but I've never been sure if this was a legit' camp-site or not. What the hell, the worst that can happen is that you're told to pack up and move out.

It ain't official. But the worst that can happen is a parking ticket if you're in a motor, coz it's no overnight parking in the carpark.

The enquiry was for a family camping site. I always use a campervan and maybeI 'm just too law abiding, but it seems a bad idea to encourage anyone to camp out in car parks. It is dangerous - especially with kids and do we really need more vehicles cluttering up ancient sites?
