Wow! A wonderful atmosphere to your descriptions there.
I have loved Lindisfarne for years (before I even lived nearby) but that beach will be special now.
I think it's fairly certain tho that it was not in it's original location, so the "mood" wasn't the intended one. But a fantastic location all the same.

Come on Tombo, crack out the camera and cake!

I was round that way about a week ago on the way back from Callanish but unfortunately we were racing to get home and couldn't stop. It was dark too, so I couldn't see it. I love Lindisfarne - lots of childhood memories tied up in the place (like nearly being caught out half way there by the tide!).
