Well I'm really impressed because Oxford seemed really really determined not to let the bones out of their sight before.

When I saw them in the museum in Oxford they weren't prominently displayed - just lurking in a case behind the mammoths or something. I just happened to look at the case casually and was really surprised to discover what I was looking at. At least they should get pride of place in the exhibition when they go to Wales.

I think the druid who wants them returned to the cave might be asking a Bit Too Much however.

That's excellent news Rhiannon. Sam has been keeping us posted on this too. Yes, i think you're right, the Druid might be asking a tad too much. ;) xx It'll probably go to a Cardiff museum though. ;(

Hmm. It was one room, with some pretty pictures, and a reconstucted face-thing. We were so disappointed with it - good job we went upstairs and looked round the museum proper, which had the carved stone from Bryn Celli Ddu amongst other exhibits.

Should have spent another day looking round Pembrokeshire instead!
