I don't recall there ever being mention of any stones at Marden but could be wrong - can't even check my books as they're packed in preparation for moving bah!!

As I said before, I don't know much about the site but this suggests there were stones. Jim Leary sort of indicates there was when comparing the place to Avebury etc.

This report is more realistic and suggests stones could have been present although they headline it as a stone circle!

Marden is a henge, not a stone circle.
