I don't recall there ever being mention of any stones at Marden but could be wrong - can't even check my books as they're packed in preparation for moving bah!!

Rhiannon,

I think that the pre-dig conjecture was that it did have stones, simply because of the comparison of its size with that of Avebury and Stonehenge. No evidence yet though.

It'd be great if they found evidence of another huge stone circle, eh?
