Really? That almost makes me feel that all is not lost, for someone to make such a benevolant gesture. That has actually made me feel all warm and fuzzy. If only everyone had such a nature.

Well actually, I had someone set to bid as well and had intended to send them to exactly the same place myself (after stroking them at home for a bit). One was a Langdale Axe, which was significant to the landscape and not at all common - look at how revered the last axe found there was
