They could always build a Neolithic theme park. "Roll up, roll up, ride the Giant Axe, the worlds first log-flume built entirely with authentic stone tools." Side stalls selling "Sacrifice me quick" hats. Sticks of rock with "Hengeworld Theme Park" written through the middle. The possibilities are endless, invest while you can.

Must patent my henge ornaments quick

"The possibilities are endless, invest while you can."

Exactly.
But it is slightly more complicated than that, actually designed on forehand with as a main ingredience diversion, diversion, and more diversion, if you put your thinking cap on, the diversions are not all that difficult to see.
It's not only at Thornborough that this is happening. But also other pre-history sites are dumpt down or opened up to exploitation.
By 'rewarding' a consumer group of +/- 10.000, one gets a near garantee for the staying away of the rest of the UK population except for Sunday outings, ... thank you for your money, thank you for the large grants, thank you for the land, when the cow has been milked, we will leave with the 'shares'.
They are succesful amongst some members of the consumer group as these feel victimised by society, and feel they have a 'right' to what is told is theirs, these people are misguided by people who's main motivation is greed and narcissus.

The counteract to divertion is diversity.

Strange is that the manipulation is not noticed.
One example.
From the beginning some people have been trying to influence us to get donations to buy land, George and I didn't go for money grabs as we just simply want the area around the henges whole and me working towards a job with George, doing the visuals for the different projects, like for the River Ure research group, Sacred Vale, Thornact etc. the agreement we made at the beginning.
If we would have said yes, would we have then had 'lots' of donations? Would we have been bringing someone elses circle round?
