Thanks for the vote of confidence mate and i hope you're well too. been funny over on the pump for a while due to a certain strain of head that seems to be frequenting those parts at the moment. best avoided when beautiful people are seen to struggle with trolls.

anyways i was out on Dartmoor last week, christ but that place is breathtaking isn't it? did my pilgrimage to the merrivale stones and spent the best part of the week just trying to get near to what it is there that's so magical and still. went up a blinking tor and forgot it's name which serves no purpose here but me and my family made the hike, on the way up to this magnificent high point where the stones all lay upon each other as if stacked (not the bowermans nose) amid the (for want of a better word) scree there was a small stone that i'm certain was/is a standing stone. it stands about two and a half feet high and is very reminiscent of one or two of the more square stones in Avebury. it was like a perfectly scaled down version of a large flat surfaced Avebury stone. it stood amongst the mess of huge rock scattered all over the side of the tor and it stood all alone. i'm pretty damn certain that with a little effort and no small amount of imagination i could see amongst the gorse and random stones lying all over the place almost where a circle might belong. it stood all alone but it definitely looked as though it had been erected.
good to talk again Drew', i'm going to hit the sack and dream of throttling Bernie Ecclestone for taking my beloved Formula One off Me !!

You should post the pics Shelby, glad your fine!
