Probably so but its too far back, they were really vertical scratch marks, perhaps something like in the Banks Tomb, but only about half a dozen lines...

Yep that's the ones , they have been described as "crosses" although closer to a St Andrews style cross , the claims were for Mesolithic , it's gone a bit quiet on them of late , similarly some of the Creswell Crags markings have been reconsidered . The Banks examples look genuine and typical for Neolithic Orkney .I was more concerned with giving the actual discoverers their due credit ,even if the markings turn out to be natural .
