You're not the first to suggest that. It's a thoery that the all-encompassing-global-mother-goddess crowd use a lot - hence the reason why it gets shot down a lot :-)

I think there's some mileage in the idea. The problem is that so many passage tombs don't have the same relationship. Some even face north.
