The shape of the chamber looks remarkably phallic/womb-like. Do you think there's any mileage in considering that the rays of the sun are a penis "fertilizing" the chamber? Maybe that's what all of this sun/moon alignment stuff is about.

BTW it was pissing down when I visited Bryn Celi Ddu, no sign of the sun.

You're not the first to suggest that. It's a thoery that the all-encompassing-global-mother-goddess crowd use a lot - hence the reason why it gets shot down a lot :-)

I think there's some mileage in the idea. The problem is that so many passage tombs don't have the same relationship. Some even face north.
