Well, I've just got in from a day on the moor and a visit to Willy Hall's Wood and unfortunately the state of the stone hasn't changed a bit. I took a few shots but I won't bother posting any because they don't really add anything to Stubob's shot from 6 months ago. This is such a shame 'cause this was one of the really Unsung sites on Rombald's Moor, made all the more charming by it's faint subtlety. So upsetting.

The little knoll above Willy Hall's Spout where this stone sits, is one of my favourite spots on that part of the moor. It must have been considered a very powerful place in prehistory.

If I every happen across the person responsible for this, I'll post a pic on here of their entrails draped over the stone!
