Not quite right, Avebury henge sits by itself, about a mile from Silbury Hill and the palisaded enclosures. The swallowhead spring and Kennet river run near Silbury hill, and the hill may have had water round it..... I think a ditch showed up one year that led to the hill- but you better ask the experts on here!
