I think Thom mentions, in Megalithic Sites In Britain, that there are four known lunar standstill sites. There's at least one other - from somewhere near Llandridod Wells to tumuli on Glog Hill - http://www.megalithicsites.co.uk/yglog.html

I'm hoping that one of the stone rows in the Smithills Country Park, Bolton, will contain a lunar alignment.

I shall be either at Callanish (a long way) or at Carrowmore (a bit nearer) where the lunar standstill is said to be above Maeve's Cairn on Knocknarea :-)
