I went and had a look yesterday, and took some pics. I can indeed confirm that the field containing much of the southern, and perhaps most well preserved of the three main Priddy Circles has indeed been bulldozed and flattened.

Which looks like Priddy circle three nearest to the road and the farm. As you say criminal and the farmer should be prosecuted for damage and destruction to a SAM... they are unique whether they be henges or not....
Priddy circle 1 was excavated by Tratman in 1966, lots of info in Jody Lewis's book of the Neolithic of North Somerset.

This is outrageous. What on earth for? How is this possible? Surely he knew what he was doing and why would you do such a thing? It would be less trouble to leave it alone. In Priddy those circles must be well known, aren't local people up in arms? And if it's on your actual land, surely you have a 'letter' from EH telling you not to do such a thing. I despair.
