Its a shame we don't have more photos on this site of Priddy Circles and Drove Cottage/Hunters lodge, Lewis did a resistivity survey on the Hunters lodge, there were two central pits as well, and the causeway/entrance went "through external ditch, bank and internal ditch, ending at the central ditched enclosure." There is a useful practical function about these banked places, as the causewayed enclosures next to Silbury show.. a feasting place maybe, with later bronze age barrow..
