The duck pond

close
more_vert

Well when I was there last week there was a pond *full* to bursting with ducks... they all left as I approached. It is without a shadow of a doubt a duck pond. Over to you Pete G.

Aren't scheduled Ancient Monuments protected from this kind of development ?

It's dreadful ...

And shouldn't be allowed.

Pull the plug out - eat the ducks.

There was a heron in mine. I cawwed toward it as it flew away and wished for luck with my latest paramour. The pond is shaped like a poond inverted - that erotic pear - also see the January Viz profanisaurus.

Burl has one of these monuments in his Megalithic Brittany. It has, I think, six uprights and one long capstone - I've probably recalled it incorrectly. He lists the past uses for the - now protected - monument. These include stable, garage, barn, home for village idiot, and so on. It's still there.

You're all back to front. Make - don't break ...
