When I visited the site last year there were 2 other man made ponds much larger in the area, One not far from the stones and another just across the way. You could see that they were fenced in you could see ducks in and around the ponds. These are clearly ponds that are used for raising ducks. The small pond very near the stones whilst containing no ducks seemed to contain no plants or wildlife and ...er no ducks.
Is this message going anywhere?

My view is that the pond near the stones looks very new and should be filled in.
