True but people forget that WKLB is a reconstruction by Piggot-Smith from the 1960's.
When it was excavated it was found to be backfilled and sealed so rats wouldn't have been so much of a problem is a sealed tomb.
I wonder if EKLB has the same problem?

Are rats a problem?
I think rats have a PR problem so here's some Absolut spin...
Rats are probably responsible for the removal of a lot of human detritis from many sites, including a lot of shite from wklb and should therefore be seen as furry custodians.
I'm sure our ancestors were well aware of the role of rats, especially when it came to excarnation.
Rats don't have belly buttons!

I heard it is going to be closed and restored again as the cement they used has failed and is crumbling.
