Oooooohhhh, that Ketley, it's right gorgeous, that. I love that, me.

Puts Copt Howe to shame. Deep rock art, not pecked surface stuff. Never seen much like that first hand. Must get out more. Me and Mrs TE were at Durham last Thurs/Fri, for a bit of of a get away bit of a thingy, so I didn't push the site stuff. Beer was a bit pricey. Mordue brew a few good 'uns.

The photo posts on TMA recently have been of top quality rock art stuff type things and it's making me restless. Far away stuff that I want to see now. Todays photos from Durham/Northumbria - bloody Nora, how do you beat them?

Warning. It's not all such good RA up here, we've some astoundingly underwhelming sites that make the Copt Howe carvings look totally clear by comparison. If you ever want a guide to the Northumbrian stuff, giz a shout, I'm always up for blagging a lift out of Tyneside ;)
