I think I've been there in most weather conditions, and I've taken quite a few newbies.

I once tackled it in August, with waist-high bracken. We got soaked. Also almost dropped down one of the badger holes!!

Always, always worth it.

And the view from Chatton to the Cheviot is yummy.

I bet it would look nice in the snow.

Ta for reminding me to write fieldnotes for Chatton. That eastern panel is canny, but the lichen is giving it a bit of a beard. Still worth a look despite that.
