How will you recognise each other? Will you be wearing white carnations and carrying a newspaper? ;o)

There is a chance I might still go! Yay! I have done me foot in, rendering me useless for many of the tasks set out for this weekend, so may have nowt better to do... Hehee!

But I might not. Depending on pain in foot. I have an excuse for any occasion, me!

We'll see.

If I am there, I will be the one glancing tentatively around to see if anyone fits my preconceptions of what you look like. Guaranteed you won't look anything like I imagine! You'll all be fully clothed for starters. Probably.

I am recognisable due to my gleaming dome of a head, and my inability to fit through doorways comfortably.

Be nice to meet you all though...

Hi Chaps,

Yes, ocifant, there is car parking up near the fort and White Horse. You need to take the road up the eastern side of The Manger, go past the Horse, and the parking is under the fort. This painting illustrates it perfectly:

As for recognition, Jane and I will both be wearing black bush hats, and there maybe a TMA flag/sign. We'll probably be making a lot of noise, anyway. Oh, and she'll more than likely have a sketchbook and be smoking Camels, while I'll have a camera and be looking louche. Possibly.

Looking forward to seeing you all!!! :o)

treaclechops xx

Awright Goff!
I hope you can come along, I know Moth is keen to hook up with you. You'll have to park in the disabled car park alongside ocifant.

"How will you recognise each other?"
...I will be clothed (I believe treaclechops will be too), we may be wearing black leather bushman's hats, I've got long blonde hair and big hooters* and treaclechops has short dark hair and big hooters*. No, really!

We've met oci and baza before and Moth is coming round to my place tonight for a cuppa, so I'll have met him by then, too. Anyone else who we haven't met will recognise us being the only mixed bunch of weirdos on the hill.

So, take some paracetamol and come join us, Baldy Beanpole, (mind if I call you that?! I mean it in a loving and caring way of course and only as an aide memoire so I'll recognise you:-)

hugs

*in the interests of public decency, all kahunas will be covered, I only raise the subject of bristols because that's what blokes notice first anyway

You're not the only one "follically challenged" who hopes to be there but as I'm more sylph like in appearance I don't think we will be confused ;)
The weather is looking a bit iffy but the pub is nearby.
The lady I hope to be bringing burst into tears when I took her into W. Kennet, goodness knows what effect the Horse will have on her!
