It depends where you want to be - but it probably *ISN'T* Swindon. Yuk! Try Faringdon... much closer to the White Horse sites. Faringdon's OK. Nice chippy. Some nice yews in the churchyard. I remember sitting eating curry rolls with treaclechops once, admiring them.

There's always the White Hart in Eynsham - about 100 metres from my house, but you're be 20 miles away from the White Horse and 45 miles from Avebury.
