Hey up,

The cairn at Moscar Moor is about 7x5m maybe 1m high, centre has been dug. Round the base are 5 stones, 3 are still upright. They're only small tho' up to 50cm.
There are no other cairns nearby.
The one in your pic doesn't look round enough, and the stones around it altho' small, are noticeable.
SK21618 85851. Bit of a featureless place for hints on how to find it.

Thanks for that - I think what we saw may have been the upper reaches of the disused quarry you can see on the map downhill from the moor. It's a nice pile of stones all the same but I'll take the picture off...
I should be back up there later in the week (weather permitting) so I'll see what I can find. While on the subject, can you give me some instructions on finding the carved stone on Ladybower Tor? I must have been up there five or six times but I've never noticed it, and as it's just over the road from Hordron Edge I thought I'd have a look.
