I just posted a picture of what we thought was the Moscar Moor cairns - the grid reference seems to match up but there weren't any other posts on the Moscar site to go off. However, on the Crook Hill site it says "Not far from Moscar Moor another small monument with a ring of 5 stones around a surviving mound" - what we saw was a load of sprawling cairns and no sign of a circle? Help would be appreciated - probably from Stubob! I'll get rid of the picture and head back again if what we saw was just a pile of stones...

Hey up,

The cairn at Moscar Moor is about 7x5m maybe 1m high, centre has been dug. Round the base are 5 stones, 3 are still upright. They're only small tho' up to 50cm.
There are no other cairns nearby.
The one in your pic doesn't look round enough, and the stones around it altho' small, are noticeable.
