I'd bury the metal detectorist and string up the EH fan.
Did you know I have been waiting for 2 years for permission from EH to climb the hill to do pics?
They send me emails every couple of months to ask if I have received permission yet and promise to push things along.
The 'No War' slogan on the hill wasn't there for a week before they took it down.
They left the Pro-hunt crap on the Uffington horse a lot longer than that!

Well in that case, if someone responsible, with a proper interest in archaeology, climbed up there and put up a banner saying "Danger! Neglected!" and took a few snaps whilst there, then I for one would think they'd done more good than harm...
