The thing is there are voids within the hill that are moving upwards at an alarming rate. If a void reached the surface and someone falls in then the only way to get them out will to destroy one side of the hill.

Also, IHMO if the ancient builders wanted people to walk to the top they they would have built a pathway.
Standing on Waden hill and looking down onto Silbury is stunning (eh Lissy?)
ALSO I am now in the habit of stopping my car when I see people on the hill and yelling abuse at them. If they ignore me I jump up and down on the roof of their car untill they come running down again :)

sHIT HAPPENS E'h and it happend to me big time but I wont climb silbury anymore cus I don't want to break it or anyfiNG.........Also I DIDN'T MEAN TO lUMP mY SHIT ON EVERY ONE sorry about that but ghosts of the past hit me hard when avebury, west Ken, and silbury are mentioned cus these were my weekend hang outs in the 90's.....hence why I seldom come into this forUm or go to Avebury MUch these days its all just tOo MUCH FER ME.
