Well...in the finest of English language what they said (You CAN climb it for a view around the countryside) is perfectly correct. But what they didn't add was... 'but you MAY not'. So it's misleading to their customers but not untruthful. Right, that's cleared that little misunderstanding up (sigh).

I've not really looked to see what that site offers but isn't it a case of shooting themselves in the foot. ?
If people turn up at Silbury and see the notices requesting you not to climb the hill wont the people taking info from them be a little pissed off at them. ?
If they are looking for repeat custom, which any worthwhile company would be doing, in business terms it's just plain stupid, is it not. ?
