> As Pete says - another thread wrecked and just when I was getting some understanding. Ah well.

I'm sure we can carry on in a civilised manner in round 2! ;o)

> Thanks for the advice on a retirement location that also got locked up in that thread - serves me right for going off topic.

I don't think it's the "going off topic" that's the problem - it's the way some of us do it! It ain't what you say it's the way that you say it. And I don't think any of that was aimed at you, PeterH...

As for the retirement - enjoy! I'll be joining you in another 30 years! ;o)

Oh, and by the way - I apologise once more for my part in the diversions... Shan't let it happen again...

30 years! Gawd help us, what a youngster you are! I'll be nearly 92 and just a bit slower on the hills. Wonder if we'll still be arguing about Silbury then. Perhaps my fight will be your fight by then and Stansted's umpteenth runway will come via Marlborough and require the relocation of that durned molehill.

and if I'm not already living in Perthshire, that's where I'll be heading when I retire.......................in 38 years' time! :o

Cheers
Andy (currently living 2 miles from the Perthshire border!)
