Silbury Round Two

As Pete says - another thread wrecked and just when I was getting some understanding. Ah well.

Thanks for the advice on a retirement location that also got locked up in that thread - serves me right for going off topic. Reckon I'll take a look at Herefordshire 'cos that British Camp looks stunning and we are a bit light on Hereford photos on the Portal.

Wrecked because I disagree with what Swift says and how he interprets data? Whatever.

Well, have to agree with SMP that the Vale of Pewsey is worth consideration - but not just yet as I can get to Liverpool Street from Chelmsford for £6.60 return and I'm not going to chuck that away in a hurry. But yeah, the Vale sounds good eventually :-)

I'm sure we can carry on in a civilised manner in round 2! ;o)

I don't think it's the "going off topic" that's the problem - it's the way some of us do it! It ain't what you say it's the way that you say it. And I don't think any of that was aimed at you, PeterH...

As for the retirement - enjoy! I'll be joining you in another 30 years! ;o)

Hi, Peter,

I was going to suggest the above because I know it quite well. - It's handy for the Malverns, and is pretty well handy for some "celebrity" sites like

Belas Knap
