"If you're referring to what I just said about a statement, tuesday, I don't quite follow you"

no, old sport, just trying to find out what's all about....

why are they doing it? and what will they do with the issues and opinions raised?

btw.... personally, I am an elitist - I don't go with the notion that you have a right to be heard on every issue under the sun by virtue of possessing a voice. I won't be there because (amongst other reasons) I don't know that much about the issues and it would deprive somebody who might of a ticket. Shame to miss the clash between the heritage heads and the lizards of love though (not)...

That's a noble reason not attending, tuseday, but the Meeting really does need people like you to push forward the best course of action for Silbury.

We had a little discussion about some of the issues that concern us earlier in the year and if you're interested you'll find them at http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/forum/?thread=24299&offset=450

I think I'm with you, tuesday. Just wonder what the total £££s would amount to if someone added up all the cost of all the paper, paperclips computer time, salaries/wages and cups of tea spent to produce all of the reports, surveys, investigations, enquiries, consultations, media hypes etc etc relating to the Silbury Hill rescue/restoration, investigation, grouting/plugging/filling, ignoring.

Would the total cost of the endless TALK have been sufficient to actually DO SOMETHING?
