Hi FW,

Have you read 'The Silbury Treasure' by Michael Dames? The base of the mound has radiating twine, laid out like spokes, and the construction has much evidence of ritualism, this would point to other than a fort, in any case, wasn't the landscape of Avebury created in peace time?

If you consider having to kick the next tribe off your land everyday 'peacetime' then I suppose it was.

My comment was only flippancy. It was not a serious suggestion by myself, but more of a question in case there was some nutter out there that had suggested it and one of you fine fellows had the book. Noah's bloody comms network central hub!!
