Back to EH and the plebs:
EH have stuff on a website that is unavigable, they put propaganda in what despite the efforts of the present editor is for the most part a specialist subscription magazine. I mean never mind the public - they are simply paying for it !

If EH did an about turn and bowed down to Swiftys demands of grouting only then in the future some young archaeologist would decide to go back in and remove the rubbish Atkinson left in the 60's.
IMHO it is best to take out Everything not original before backfilling propery and forever.
At the recent Knoll Down dig I had the chamce to talk to a bunch of professinal archaeologists and they all agreed that the EH plan is the best option.
BTW does Frank know of anywhere in Avebury that is large enough to hold all the interested parties that
HA want EH to explain their plans to?
