Aubrey called it Selsbury (it was in the selkley hundred) but locals always called it Zilbury.
Hence the legend of king Zil on his gold horse.

I'd never heard of that one, Pete G. Its surely got solar connotations, though, what with the golden horse. I'll add it to my blog in the next day or two (once I've trawled the net for some more details...).
